“Tux of Math Command” is a math drill game starring Tux, the Linux Penguin. Lessons range from simple number typing to addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of positive and negative numbers. It is intended for kids aged approximately 4-10.

Math Lessons

Includes lessons on basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) with positive and negative numbers.

Game mode

  • Playing Alone: Includes various modes like math command training academy, math fleet mission, play arcade game, and play custom game. Equations are announced via TTS, and players must type the answers to save igloos.
  • Playing with Friends: Multiplayer mode where multiple kids can play together. Players can input their details.

In-Game Assistance

  • Feedback Keys: Pressing F1, F2, F3 keys provides score, number of igloos still alive, and current wave number.
  • Audio Cues: Heightened pitch and rate help understand the position of the comet.

Special Comets

  • Repair Comet: Appears after producing a church bell, can repair damaged igloos. Igloos are repaired at the end of the wave if damaged.
  • Smart Bomb Comet: Announced with high pitch, provides a smart bomb that destroys all comets on the screen. User must catch it and press ‘X’ to activate.

Audio Customization

Allows changing background music volume and effects volume using page up, page down, home, and end keys during gameplay.
