Can Lios be used without a external scanner?
It will be possible. We can use the soft copy or screen shot that we have taken earlier. For that, we can upload the saved material to Lios by pressing Ctrl+0 or using the open option in the file menu.
What languages does Lios suport?
A facility has been provided to download and use language in Lios as per our requirement within Accessible-Coconut. For that Tesseract OCR language installer option is provided in graphics menu in Application.
Can we get the audio file of the material we provided?
Yes of course . For that, Audio converter facility is provided in tools menu.
Suppose, if a print comes in more than one language, is it possible to text it using Lios?
It will be possible. However, only three languages can be texted in Lios at the same time. That facility is provided in the Recognition Page of the Preferences menu in Lios. You can use Ctrl+P to go to Preferences menu.
Is it possible to take a screenshot and scan it in Lios?
Yes, it is possible for that, take screenshot option is provided in the scan menu of Lios.
Is the application compatible with screen readers for visually impaired users?
Ensure that the application is accessible for visually impaired users through screen readers or other assistive technologies.
In which ways we can upload print to Lios?
We can use pdf file (any soft copy) or take screenshot or scan directly
