A.B.K supports both touchscreen typing and physical keyboard input, giving you the freedom to choose how you type. It also offers rich customization options, including Braille screen layouts, key bindings, transparency settings, capitalization preferences, an abbreviation editor, gesture support, and configurable command codes for various operations.

Multi-Language Support

A.B.K supports over 90 languages including Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Urdu, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, English (Canada, UK, US), Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, French, Russian, German, Portuguese, Korean.

Screen Layouts for Braille Input

Choose from four touch-based layouts: 

  • Automatic 
  • Laptop 
  • Two-Hand Screen-Outward
  • Manual 

Braille Screen Input

Enter text by pressing Braille dot combinations simultaneously on the touch screen. 

Grade 2 and Grade 3 Support

Supports abbreviations and contractions in advanced Braille grades.

Physical Keyboard Support

Connect via Bluetooth or OTG to input Braille using a physical keyboard with simultaneous key presses. 

Privacy Mode

Keeps the screen blank while typing to protect user privacy in public spaces. 

Action Mode

Switch to this mode for text editing and manipulation using Braille command combinations. 

Liblouis Table Manager

Create and use custom Liblouis Braille translation tables. 

Physical Keyboard Configuration

Map Braille dots, abbreviation keys, delete keys, capital toggle, and one-hand skip to any key. 

Secondary Keyboard Option

Allow users to switch back to the preferred keyboard after using A.B.K.

Voice Input
