My internship at Zendalona was an enriching experience. I had the opportunity to work with a passionate and dynamic team that encouraged learning and creativity.

During the internship period, I was exposed to various real-time projects and gained practical knowledge in areas like Al technologies, chatbot development, content management, and client communication. One of the key highlights was the chance to participate in brainstorming sessions where interns were given equal voice in suggesting ideas and solutions.

I also got hands-on experience working with tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and various internal project management tools. The team leads and mentors at Zendalona were very supportive and approachable. They guided me through every phase of the assigned projects and ensured that I understood not just what I was doing, but also why I was doing it.

Apart from technical learning, the internship also helped me improve my professional communication skills, especially through tasks like drafting formal emails, coordinating with teams, and updating clients on project progress.

Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment like Zendalona taught me how to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision while still being productive.Overall, my time at Zendalona helped me bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. It was a stepping stone for me in understanding how corporate projects are handled and delivered.

Each week, we had Digital Age sessions that enriched our learning with new insights and tools. I also had the chance to explore Flutter, the technology used in our project, which greatly enhanced my skills and interest in app development

Over the past couple of weeks, this internship has given me valuable hands on experience and growth across different roles not just as a software engineer, but also as a website developer and marketing intern. I recently had the opportunity to be part of my first client meeting alongside my team member, Dino Saji Sam, during my internship at Zendalona, and it was a valuable experience.

Before the meeting, I felt a bit tense, but I reminded myself not to overthink or get caught up in formulating perfect responses. Instead, I focused on being present, maintaining a calm mindset, and truly listening to the client’s needs.

This approach helped me better understand their expectations and gather clear, actionable requirements.

It was a great introduction to the collaborative aspect of software development beyond just writing code.

My internship at Zendalona taught me something I didn’t expect: building technology isn’t just about writing code-it’s about solving real problems for real people.

I’ve just wrapped up a truly transformative one-month offline internship at Zendalona. This past month has been incredible—filled with learnings, challenges, collaboration, and growth.

From working on real-time projects and learning how the industry operates, to being mentored by the amazing Mukundhan Annamalai and Nalin Sathyan, every day brought something new—whether it was a challenge, a lesson, or an inspiration.

A few years ago, I was part of one of those “₹100 internship scams”—pick any domain, make a landing page, and receive a certificate. No skills, no real experience—just a piece of paper. That experience made me crave something real.

So, when I heard Zendalona was offering internships, I took a step—mailed my resume, waited, and when there was no response, I followed up. That was my first real learning:

Act first. If you want something, ask. Don’t wait.

And I got it. And it was absolutely worth it.
