From “Am I ready?” to “Yes, I’ll do it!”
A few weeks ago, MK (yes, our boss) messaged me a casual “hello.” As always, it sparked my curiosity—what could it be this time?
Then came the unexpected:
“Will you take a session tomorrow on Advanced Version Control for 15 minutes after the Digital Age session?”
I don’t know what kind of reflex it was, but even though I didn’t know much about the topic at that moment, I replied with a bold “yes.”
And the very next day… was the presentation.
I couldn’t help but think back to my very first Digital Age session. I was so nervous then—even though it was just an online session. I remember worrying, “What if I can’t answer their questions?”
But that day, standing there in person, I saw the difference.
Yes, I still made a few mistakes. But this time, I could stand there confidently and say:
“Yes, I’ll do it.”
I walked them through some of the most commonly confused Git commands. (And just in case you’re curious, here’s a quick rundown:)
· git revert – Safely undoes a committed change by creating a new commit that reverses it (great for public history).
· git reset – Moves the current branch pointer to a different commit (rewrites history, so handle with care).
· git restore – Restores working directory files to a previous state without altering commit history (ideal for local changes).
This experience reminded me: It’s not always about knowing everything. Sometimes, it’s about showing up, taking the challenge—and watching yourself grow through it.

My internship at Zendalona was an enriching experience. I had the opportunity to work with a passionate and dynamic team that encouraged learning and creativity.
During the internship period, I was exposed to various real-time projects and gained practical knowledge in areas like Al technologies, chatbot development, content management, and client communication. One of the key highlights was the chance to participate in brainstorming sessions where interns were given equal voice in suggesting ideas and solutions.
I also got hands-on experience working with tools like Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and various internal project management tools. The team leads and mentors at Zendalona were very supportive and approachable. They guided me through every phase of the assigned projects and ensured that I understood not just what I was doing, but also why I was doing it.
Apart from technical learning, the internship also helped me improve my professional communication skills, especially through tasks like drafting formal emails, coordinating with teams, and updating clients on project progress.
Working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment like Zendalona taught me how to manage time efficiently, meet deadlines, and work under minimal supervision while still being productive.Overall, my time at Zendalona helped me bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry expectations. It was a stepping stone for me in understanding how corporate projects are handled and delivered.
I am grateful for this opportunity and would recommend the Zendalona internship experience to anyone who wants to develop their skills and gain industry exposure.

From classroom concepts to real-world applications, this experience gave me a deeper understanding of how actual projects are initiated, planned, and executed. I learned not only about the technical workflows but also the power of teamwork and the importance of collaboration in achieving common goals.
Each week, we had Digital Age sessions that enriched our learning with new insights and tools. I also had the chance to explore Flutter, the technology used in our project, which greatly enhanced my skills and interest in app development
Beyond the technical aspects, this internship taught me valuable corporate etiquette and how things function in a professional setting.
I am grateful to Zendalona for this amazing opportunity and for helping me take this step forward in my career.

I’m excited to share that I’ve been working as a Software Engineer Intern at Zendalona since June 5th, 2025!

I recently had the opportunity to be part of my first client meeting alongside my team member, Dino Saji Sam, during my internship at Zendalona, and it was a valuable experience.
Before the meeting, I felt a bit tense, but I reminded myself not to overthink or get caught up in formulating perfect responses. Instead, I focused on being present, maintaining a calm mindset, and truly listening to the client’s needs.
This approach helped me better understand their expectations and gather clear, actionable requirements.
It was a great introduction to the collaborative aspect of software development beyond just writing code.
My internship at Zendalona taught me something I didn’t expect: building technology isn’t just about writing code-it’s about solving real problems for real people.
I learned to think beyond features and focus on usability, clarity, and inclusivity. Good tech isn’t just functional-it’s thoughtful.
Grateful for the experience, the challenges, and the mindset shift this journey brings.
Success Story by Aqil Adam
When I joined Zendalona what stood out was how much they cared about our growth. Every mistake and success became a lesson in professional behaviour, and we all learned from one another.
I used to wait for direction, but the team’s “Digital Age” talks and hands-on exercises gently pushed me to speak up and share ideas. It wasn’t always comfortable, but I found myself stepping forward more often.
Working side by side with fellow interns showed me the power of clear communication and shared ownership. From early research to staying aligned, I saw how much stronger a project becomes when everyone contributes.
This internship helped me grow both as a team member and as an individual-by building confidence, accountability, and a better understanding of how to work within a professional environment.

I’ve just wrapped up a truly transformative one-month offline internship at Zendalona. This past month has been incredible—filled with learnings, challenges, collaboration, and growth.
From working on real-time projects and learning how the industry operates, to being mentored by the amazing Mukundhan Annamalai and Nalin Sathyan, every day brought something new—whether it was a challenge, a lesson, or an inspiration.
A few years ago, I was part of one of those “₹100 internship scams”—pick any domain, make a landing page, and receive a certificate. No skills, no real experience—just a piece of paper. That experience made me crave something real.
So, when I heard Zendalona was offering internships, I took a step—mailed my resume, waited, and when there was no response, I followed up. That was my first real learning:
Act first. If you want something, ask. Don’t wait.
And I got it. And it was absolutely worth it.
